The Book of Concord

Henry Eyster Jacobs's edition of the Lutheran Confessions was first published in 1882. The work of a variety of translators, this volume was the standard English edition of the Book of Concord used by the General Council of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in North America, along with several other English-speaking Lutheran bodies in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. This new hardcover edition presents this classic translation in a new format, with an updated typeface and layout for contemporary readers.
